We recently had a trip to the beautiful Derby Arboretum for a workshop run by an award winning writer Emma Pass and an award winning artist called Duncan Pass. We had a lovely wander around the park gathering inspiration!. After that we wrote poems about how the Arboretum made us feel and what senses we used as we walked around.
Finally Duncan showed us how to make a relief print and we all used a printing press (made from an old mangle!) to print our designs. We then put the whole thing together in a book.
Everyone had a fantastic time.
